Morgan Geekie won't want this year to end.
Of course, the Boston Bruins' star forward has no choice. When Thursday arrives, it'll be 2026, a brand new year full of highs and lows.
It's just that in 2025, Geekie was as good as anyone.
He enters a New Year's Eve game with 50 goals on the calendar year. Before NHL action on Wednesday, that's tied for best in the league during games played in 2025.

These stats don't necessarily tell us a ton. There aren't a lot of surprises. The best players in the league are all over this list.
But Geekie is a guy who doesn't get the same acclaim as the rest. And as far as scoring goals goes, Geekie has been as good or better than anyone this year.
