OTAs and training camp are times when mistakes on the field are acceptable, but sometimes, during certain situations, mistakes shouldn't happen, and the Cleveland Browns quarterback room, of course, committed them.
As the Browns, under new head coach Todd Monken, continued their offseason program, several defensive plays were highlighted by interceptions and a forced fumble, per Camryn Justice of WNEWS.
But Monken was less than impressed when he was asked about those defensive plays, and it is fair to say that the quarterback who messed up would have gotten a serious talking to.
“Yeah, we threw interceptions in 7-on-7 for God’s sake," Monken said. "I mean, who does that? There’s no pass rush. I mean, it’s embarrassing.”

Browns QB battle intriguing
With Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders battling it out for the starting role, whoever threw those interceptions that Monken is talking about, well, they might have moved down the depth chart as a result.
The tone that Monken used and his utter disgust at the fact that those interceptions were thrown are clear signs that the standards were not being met by his quarterbacks.
Again, we don't know who threw them, but one thing is for sure: Monken was irate that they were thrown.
The offseason is time for mistakes, but not that type of mistake.
