On the other hand, Cam Thomas continues to dominate the ball in Brooklyn, averaging 24 points and 5.5 assists to start the season. Michael Porter Jr., who was acquired via trade with the Nuggets this summer, is also starting to find his footing. He is averaging 21.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game.

Houston Rockets injury report
The Rockets will be close to full strength for Monday’s game against the Nets. But the team still has a couple of significant absences to adjust for. Dorian Finney-Smith will miss his third consecutive game of the season as he continues to recover from the left ankle surgery he underwent in June.
Lastly, the team will be without Fred VanVleet, who may miss the entire 2025-26 season due to an ACL tear.

The Brooklyn Nets, meanwhile, have four players listed on their injury report for Monday’s game. Drake Powell (ankle), Ziaire Williams (back) and Danny Wolf (ankle) are listed as questionable against the Rockets. Finally, Haywood Highsmith will be sidelined as he continues to recover from a knee injury.
