Brooke Hogan mourns Hulk Hogan in bright lime green bikini at the beach

Brooke Hogan is mourning her father, Hulk Hogan.

The reality star took to Instagram on Wednesday, May 20, sharing a few photos of herself at the beach. Brooke began the carousel of images of herself in a bright lime green bikini, lying on a towel with the beach in the background. In the other photos and videos in her post, she showed images of her dad on a boat as well as with her sons. 

“Needed some time with my thoughts, my daddy and the ocean he loved so much," she captioned the post. "Every wave hit my heart like a memory that felt like it was yesterday. The waves carried the bass in his voice, the salt water felt like his hugs."

“The smell of the ocean smelled like so many days on the boat we spent together," Brooke continued. "I remember him whisking me across the surf like King Triton holding his Little Mermaid... if I could breathe underwater, I'd spend forever under the sea if it meant being that much closer to him."

Brooke concluded the post, noting that it made her emotional being there, “The tears were endless today.” 

The mom of two, who married her husband, Steven Oleksy, in June 2022 and welcomed their twin sons in January 2025, has shared previously that the beach reminds her of her father and the times they had there. Instead of attending his funeral, she had a private celebration of her father's life with her husband and children at the beach. 

Before the WWE legend's death at age 71 in July 2025, when he suffered a heart attack in his Florida home, Brooke and Hulk had an estranged relationship. 

"I felt a disconnect. What followed were respectful disagreements that took an emotional toll on me," she wrote in an Instagram post following his death. "During the last two years, I had to step away to protect my heart."

They were not able to reconcile before his death, but she has been celebrating him in her own way since.
