Bronny James' 41-point, 11-rebound, 15-assist G League Lakers stats aren't what they seem

Bronny James had himself a day on Sunday.

Well, that is, if you believe everything you read on the Internet about the Los Angeles Lakers' youngster and son of LeBron James.

There's a stat line circulating on X that claims to be from Game 1 of the G League Finals. And, well, that's just not true.

It says Bronny went for 41 points, 11 rebounds and 15 assists.

The South Bay Lakers didn't even play on Sunday.

Here's the post in question, one that is totally false but is going quite viral:

MORE: LeBron James' dunking stats are insane this season

That'd be quite the stats, if they were real.

Bronny has been really solid in the G League this year, but he's not putting up numbers like that.

Leave the triple-doubles to pops.

Bronny isn't even in the G League right now. With the Lakers quite shorthanded, he's getting ample playing time in the NBA.
