This offseason, the Denver Broncos will have a lot of eyes on them. While they came up just short in the AFC Championship game, they can make some big moves this offseason to return and make the Super Bowl.
Of course, while the defense needs some help, the bigger need is on the offensive side of the ball. Bo Nix needs some more help in 2026.
Fortunately for Broncos fans hoping for some big additions this offseason, CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones is reporting that Denver is looking to make a big splash at running back this offseason.
Broncos looking for big time RB addition this offseason
"The Broncos are poised to make a splash at running back next week," Jones reported ahead of free agency.
With less than a week to go before the offseason really kicks into gear, the Broncos are linked to some of the best running backs available.
Kenneth Walker III of the Seattle Seahawks and Travis Etienne Jr. of the Jacksonville Jaguars are two big-name free agents to keep in mind this offseason.
Jones reported that the New York Jets franchise tagged Breece Hall in part because the Broncos would've strongly pursued Hall in free agency.
The Detroit Lions also got more from the Houston Texans in the David Montgomery trade thanks to the Broncos making a late push for the star running back.

With J.K. Dobbins a free agent and RJ Harvey not being a feature back, the Broncos need to add another top-tier running back to the offense.
Someone like Walker, coming off a Super Bowl MVP season for the Seahawks, will likely cost above $12.5 million per-year to sign. He might even reach close to $14 million per-year.
Etienne will be a bit less, so if the Broncos don't want to spend too much on a star running back, but still land a good one, Etienne would be their target.
Beyond those two, the Broncos could go after Tyler Allgeier, Rico Dowdle, Kenneth Gainwell, Rachaad White, or Aaron Jones.
