Broncos face difficult scenario to begin 2025 season

The full schedule for the 2025 season for the Denver Broncos has been released and fans are busy making preparations for the upcoming season while others are making win-loss predictions based on the matchups.

But many of those predictions may be glossing over a fact of the team's schedule that shows that between September 8 and October 18, the Broncos will be playing in Denver just one time. Ouch.

The Broncos will open the regular season at home against the Tennessee Titans on September 7th. The team then goes to Indianapolis and Los Angeles for back-to-back road games. They then return home to face the Cincinnati Bengals on September 29th before heading to Philadelphia and then to London to play the New York Jets.

They don't return home until October 19th, when they host the New York Giants. In the span of 40 days, the Broncos will be in the friendly confines of Empower Field just once. Though there will still be plenty of season left following this stretch, it will be crucial for the Broncos to win on the road.

Last season, the Broncos were just 4-5 on the road. Improving that by a game or two could mean the difference between a division title and a Wild Card or missing the playoffs completely.

After this stretch, the Broncos have three of their next four games at home, which could put them into a really good spot heading into the holiday season.
