Brock Bowers' GF Cameron Newell shares her father's NFL Draft Day prediction for Raiders TE which came true

Brock Bowers' longtime girlfriend, Cameron Newell, made an appearance on the "WAG Talk" Instagram account. She recalled Bowers' draft day experience and how her dad may have foreshadowed the outcome.

Newell stated that her dad has been a lifelong Raiders fan. He was so excited to get the opportunity to attend a draft party that he brought his Oakland Raiders Super Bowl jacket with him despite the odds of Bowers being drafted by the team were quite low.

"Draft night was crazy, when Brock's draft party was coming around the day of, we were all sitting at my house and my dad goes into our closet and he like pulls out his Raiders jacket from, I don't remember the last time they won, It was 19 something championship, Oakland Raiders. And I go, 'Dad don't bring this jacket you don't know if he's going to the Raiders' and he's like, "no, I just it's the one time I'm going to go to a draft party like I have to bring my jacket.' " She continued, "We're like yeah, no way the Raiders are going to draft him. They hadn't even called him or talked to him literally throughout the entire draft process. So, then we're sitting on the couch, and he gets a call, he comes back out and we see him grab the Raiders hat and he has tears running down his face, he's (her Dad) holding up the jacket in the back, it was just crazy."

Cameron Newell also shared her dad's response to Brock Bowers being drafted by his favorite team. The second-year tight end was placed on the Injured Reserve this week, officially ending his season. Bowers has dealt with a knee injury this season and the Las Vegas Raiders have officially shut him down.

In 12 games this season, Bowers had 64 receptions for 680 yards and a career-high seven touchdowns.

Tight end Brock Bowers' girlfriend, Cameron Newell, moved to Las Vegas earlier this year after she graduated from the University of Tennessee. Since becoming a resident, she has shared the fun she has had along the way. In November, she raved about the opportunity to attend Formula 1's Las Vegas Grand Prix.

"Living in Vegas means you sometimes end up at a cool car race," Cameron captioned her Instagram post.

Cameron Newell and Brock Bowers began dating ahead of their senior year of high school in Napa, California.
