Brock Bowers continued his dominant rookie season on Sunday despite the Raiders falling 34-19 to the Dolphins.
The tight end out of Georgia, who was Las Vegas' first-round pick earlier this year, posted 13 catches for 126 receiving yards and a touchdown. Bowers has functioned as the Raiders' top pass-catcher throughout the 2024 season, leading the team in receiving yards (580) after Sunday's game.
After scoring his touchdown against Miami, Bowers acted out an increasingly popular celebration, which resembles a dance that president-elect Donald Trump has done in the past. The tight end was asked about the celebration after the game, but his team's PR staff faced scrutiny for ending Bowers' press conference soon after.
Here's a look at the "Donald Trump dance" that Bowers and others across the NFL have done, plus the details on the postgame situation at the Raiders tight end's press conference.

Brock Bowers' 'Donald Trump dance' celebration
With Las Vegas trailing in the third quarter of Sunday's matchup, Bowers caught a pass from quarterback Gardner Minshew on 3rd-and-9, broke a tackle, and sprinted into the end zone. It was the rookie's third touchdown catch of the season.

— NFL on CBS 🏈 (@NFLonCBS) November 17, 2024Immediately after scoring, Bowers did the brief "Donald Trump dance" that's been seen a few times across college football and the NFL lately. The celebration mostly just consists of one moving their fists back and forth, a small dance that the president-elect has done in public appearances before.

Why did Raiders end Brock Bowers' press conference after question about 'Donald Trump dance'?
According to USA Today reporter Safid Deen, he asked Bowers about his touchdown celebration after Sunday's game. Bowers said he has seen "everyone do it" and "thought it was cool," but immediately following the question, Las Vegas' PR staff ended the tight end's media availability.
Asked Brock Bowers about his Trump TD celly: “I’ve seen everyone do it. I watched the UFC fight last night and Jon Jones did it. I like watching UFC so I saw it, and thought it was cool.”
Raiders PR ended his postgame availability after my question.
Per NBC Sports, there hasn't been video posted anywhere of the interaction, and the transcript of Bowers' media availability from the Dolphins doesn't include the question or answer about his celebration.
The Raiders have not yet commented on why they cut Bowers' postgame presser short.
