Brittany Mahomes made it a family affair in support of Patrick Mahomes' last 2026 Kansas City Chiefs preseason game.
In the photo she shared on Instagram on Aug. 28, she and Patrick stood beside their two oldest children: daughter Sterling, 5, and son Bronze, 3, on the field at Arrowhead Stadium. She also shares their youngest daughter, Golden, 19 months, with the Chiefs quarterback.
The mom of three wore a denim-on-denim outfit for the occasion that featured a medium-wash cropped jean jacket and matching shorts, which she paired with blue Adidas Sambas. She wore a plain white T-shirt under the jean jacket and oversized sunglasses.
In other photos in the carousel post, Brittany shared her children having a fun time on the field making silly faces and a photo op with the Chiefs mascot, K.C., a friendly grey wolf.
Mahomes, who did not play during the 2026 NFL preseason following his ACL and LCL injuries in his left knee that he suffered last December, previously shared how important of a role Brittany plays in their household.
“I think people don’t even realize how much she does,” the Chiefs quarterback said on the “Impaulsive” podcast in 2024. “I mean, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and make it where I can focus on football and focus on my craft and everything like that. [She’s] a Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife, [which] makes it a lot easier.”
“I mean, when you get to come home and your best friend’s there and you can just hang out, it makes you want to be there all the time and she pushes me to be great and she’s done a lot of great things herself,” Patrick added.
Mahomes gave an update on his recovery earlier this week, and his plans are still the same to hopefully be cleared to play Week 1 of the 2026-2027 NFL season. Mahomes shared that doctors told him that "if I did everything the right way, I would be ready to play Week 1. I'm someone that, if you put [a goal] out in front of me, I want to go out and get it and maximize every single opportunity, every rep in the weight room, every hour that I can spend in the building to get my body right.
"This has always been the plan. From the day I got the surgery, as quick as I did, to hopefully the first game of the year, the plan will go accordingly, and I'll be able to go out there and be myself."
The Chiefs' first regular-season game will be against the Denver Broncos on Sept. 14 at Arrowhead Stadium at 8:15 pm ET.
