Britney Spears wears sheer lace skirt to lunch after LA freeway stunt

1 hour ago 3

Britney Spears rocked an edgy see-through lace skirt while stepping out to lunch with a male companion in Malibu on Monday.

The Grammy winner, 44, evoked her early-2000s “In the Zone” era in the pink skirt layered over black underwear, styled with a white tank top and a sheer off-the-shoulder sweater.

She accessorized with a mini Louis Vuitton bag, fingerless gloves, a black choker necklace, aviator sunglasses and black cowboy boots.

Spears’ crimped hair finished off the grunge-inspired outfit ensemble.

She appeared in good spirits while with her friend, who wore a white button-up and black pants.

The “Toxic” songstress’ sun-filled outing comes after her carefree freeway stunt, which saw her standing through the moonroof of a black Mercedes SUV last month.

Footage showed Spears channeling main character energy as she threw her head back and lifted her arms in the air while cruising on the 101 Freeway near Studio City.

The “Oops! … I Did It Again” singer’s hair and sundress were carried by the wind while traveling at around 45 mph in light traffic.

“Britney just went through the sunroof for a quick moment,” an insider told the Daily Mail. “She wanted to see what the traffic was about up ahead because the cars came to a stop.”

“She used to do this all the time as a kid growing up in the South,” the source added. “She loves having the warm wind blow through her hair in the summer, it’s fun.”

According to the source, Spears “is having a fun summer and is happy.”

Additionally, an insider previously told Page Six that the Princess of Pop was “doing really well” after she had left rehab following her arrest for driving under the influence in March. She pleaded guilty to a “wet reckless” charge to avoid jail time.

The “Gimme More” songstress shares her kids with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, whom she was married to from 2004 to 2007.

Most recently, she told fans of her desire to have another baby in a video of herself dancing in June.
