Lindsay Lohan’s new hairdo is so fetch.
The 40-year-old returned to her roots, transforming her blonde locks back to her signature redhead look.
Alongside a carousel of photos showing off her fiery tresses, Lohan captioned her Aug. 4 Instagram post with a simple red heart.
The Millennial icon caused quite the stir in her comment section, as fans warmly welcomed back her old look. As one commenter remarked, she’s “the most iconic redhead in pop culture.”
“I love how you can rock every haircolor,” another wrote, “but I feel red is the most iconic.”
And it appears that the Mean Girls star agrees, as she has previously shared how much she loves going red. In fact, while having a “conversation” with her younger self in 2023, she emphasized how much she loves her natural features.
“I love my red hair!" she wrote on Instagram at the time. And as for her freckles? Lohan said, "They used to make me uncomfortable as a kid but now I realize how beautiful they are."
Indeed, as the Freaky Friday actress has gotten older, she has felt more in touch with herself and discovered the parts of life she values the most.
When she celebrated her 40th birthday in July, she reflected on her 30s, which included milestones like her marriage to Bader Shammas in 2022 and the birth of her 3-year-old son Luai.

"This decade changed everything in the most meaningful ways,” she wrote in a July 2 Instagram post, alongside photos of her husband and son. “I got married, became a mother and understood a deeper kind of love, one that reshaped what truly matters."
And as she enters this new era of her life, Lohan shared her hopes for what’s to come.
“Grateful for every chapter that brought me here,” she continued in her birthday post. “For the lessons, the laughter, the love, the unexpected turns, and the people who’ve stood beside me through it all. This next decade feels different. More grounded. More intentional. More joyful.”
