Braves temporarily lose key starter for special reason

The Atlanta Braves are set to be a bit shorthanded this weekend.

Michael Harris II is leaving the team on Saturday, and they'll need someone else to start in centerfield.

Harris hasn't gotten off to the best start this season, but his underlying metrics suggest he's been unlucky and should have a good chance to start turning things around.

That won't be able to happen until he returns to the field, though.

Harris was placed on the paternity list on Saturday.

A baby is on the way, a special reason to step away from the team.

Who is playing CF for Braves?

With Harris away, the most likely candidate is Eli White.

Ronald Acuna Jr. doesn't usually play center. Bench bats Luke Williams or Jorge Mateo could also go out there in a pinch.
