The Miami Dolphins have been moving on from multiple veteran players this offseason, with Tua Tagovailoa and Tyreek Hill two of the bigger departures.

Bradley Chubb, a veteran they acquired from the Denver Broncos a few years ago, is also being released. And shortly after being cut, the star pass rusher found a home.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Chubb is ditching the Dolphins shortly after his release for the AFC East contender Buffalo Bills on a sizeable $52.5 million contract over three years.

Bradley Chubb lands with Bills shortly after Dolphins release

"Former Dolphins DE Bradley Chubb reached agreement on a three-year, $43.5 million deal worth up to $52.5 million that includes $29 million guaranteed with the Buffalo Bills," Schefter reports.

Chubb is a two-time Pro Bowler and seven-year NFL veteran pass rusher who has put up 48 sacks in his NFL career. This past season with Miami, he has 8.5 sacks, 47 tackles, eight tackles for loss, and 20 quarterback hits in 17 games.

He also led the NFL in 2023 with six forced fumbles, and paired it with 11 sacks and 73 tackles with 11 tackles for loss and 22 quarterback hits in the best year of his NFL career.

Chubb missed the entire 2024 season due to injury, a torn ACL, and has missed parts of the 2019 and 2021 seasons before as well.

But, after playing all 17 games for the Dolphins in 2025 and putting up respectable numbers, he is very quickly deciding to go to the Bills on a $52.5 million max-value deal.

Chubb will be 30 years old at the start of the season and will be heading up north to join the Bills for his third team in his NFL career since being drafted fifth overall in 2018 by the Broncos.
