A teenage wood shop apprentice in Turkey died after his co-workers inserted a high-pressure air hose up his rectum as a horrific “prank” — the latest incident where the power tool has killed a young man by exploding his intestines.
The dark “joke” turned deadly Friday when Habip Aksoy and a friend allegedly overpowered Muhammed Kendirci, 15, and tied his hands at the woodworking center in Sanliurfa, according to local outlet Milliyet.
They allegedly forcibly removed his pants and shoved an air compressor tube into his anus — causing severe internal organ damage.
Muhammed Kendirci, 15, died after his co-workers inserted a high-pressure air hose up his butt as a “prank.” NXKendirci was rushed to Harran University Research and Application Hospital, where he died five days later, Milliyet reported.
Aksoy was arrested and released on probation before ultimately being detained again, the outlet added. His charges were not immediately clear.
The high-pressure air hose — used for everything from auto repair to sanding and powering nail guns — has killed two other teenage boys in recent years.
In 2023, Motilal Sahu, 16, died of internal injuries after a co-worker inserted a compressed air hose into his rectum “for fun” at a factory in India.
Kendirci,15, was rushed to a hospital, where he died of internal injuries five days later. NXDheerajsingh Goud, 21, allegedly grabbed the hose on his cleaning machine and shoved it into the teen’s anus, damaging his intestines.
He collapsed to the floor of the Poona Flour and Foods processing in the town of Hadapsar and ultimately died of internal injuries.
In 2017, Wesner Moreira da Silva, a 17-year-old car wash worker, died after colleagues blasted a high-pressure air hose up his anus, causing his intestines to explode.
Thiago Giovanni Demarco Sena and Willian Enrique Larrea, were later convicted of raping and killing the boy and sentenced to more than 12 years in prison.
