Booker T has called out his friend and fellow WWE Hall of Famer, Goldberg. Both wrestlers share history, having competed against each other inside the squared circle.

Da Man recently caused a stir when he referred to Asuka as "some girl" that WWE had surpass his winning streak in WCW, while accusing the promotion of bias against him. Asuka responded to the comments, saying it was not a big deal, but fans online continue to discuss the topic.

Booker T has now shared his take on his Hall of Fame podcast. When asked about his thoughts on the issue by a fan, the former King of the Ring winner said veterans shouldn't go out of their bounds.

“You know, I hate to say this because Goldberg’s a friend of mine. But I think these old guys need to stay out of what these young guys are doing. We had our time. For us to think about, in any way, knocking what these young guys and girls are doing today, it’s just totally out of bounds. We had our time in the sunshine, we ran with it, it was a great time," he said.

He then mentioned that veterans talking about young wrestlers in a negative way isn't helpful since their job is to critique the wrestling.

"For us to talk about what these young guys are doing right now in a negative way, I think it’s wrong in any way, shape, or form. Critiquing the wrestling is something we do," he added.

Bully Ray defended Goldberg over his comments

While fans online criticized Goldberg's comments, he found some support from Bully Ray.

Speaking on Busted Open, Bully said other than not knowing or mispronouncing Asuka's name, he doesn't see anything wrong with what Goldberg said.

He said his comments about coming from WCW and being treated differently were also true since he wasn't made in the WWE test tube.
