Bo Nix's wife Izzy calls for Broncos star to "come home" after special Christmas Day win vs Chiefs

Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos pulled off the 20-13 victory in the final minutes of the Christmas Day matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. The quarterback's wife, Izzy, watched the game from home.

Izzy Nix gave a recap on her Instagram Story of her Christmas Day that was spent with family and friends, celebrating the holiday. She then revealed that she finished her day comfortable at home watching the Denver Broncos with the Chirtsmas tree in the corner giving holiday vibes.

Izzy Nix then added a caption sharing her excitement for the quarterback's return home.

The win now puts the Denver Broncos one step closer to securing the AFC West title which can be done on Saturday if the Los Angeles Chargers lose or tie the Houston Texans.

Bo Nix's wife Izzy, reacted him facing his fear of dogs

Bo Nix unexpectedly met broadcaster Kirk Herbstreit's well-known dog, Peter, earlier this season. The second-year quarterback was not a fan of Peter nor any dog as a matter of fact.

Kirk Herbstreit shared a post on Instagram on Friday morning of Peter's weekly adventures. He revealed that it was time for Bo Nix to meet his loyal furry friend once again and even included clips of his Broncos' teammates revealing the quarterback's fear of dogs.

Towards the end of the video, Nix finally pet Peter and seemed to enjoy the meeting.

"We had to make it happen with @bonix10 after last time 🤣🤣 @nflonprime #peter," Herbstreit explained.

Izzy Nix commented on Kirk Herbstreit's Instagram post and called the moment a 'miracle.'

Since traveling with Kirk Herbstreit for Thursday night's NFL broadcasts and then Saturday's College GameDay on ESPN, Peter Herbstreit has become a household name.
