The Toronto Blue Jays are an interesting team this year. Fans have seen this team play really good baseball and really bad baseball at different points this season.
They dug themselves a bit of a hole earlier in the season, but were really moving well toward the end of May. The offense was hitting the ball all over the place, and the pitching staff was looking the part.
However, once we got into June, things started to change for the worse. When pitching has been on, the offense hasn't, and vice-versa, which has led to a 5-7 record this month.

Blue Jays tumble down the rankings after a tough start to June
To the Blue Jays' credit, they faced off against two solid teams last week. They had a three-game series during the week against the surging Philadelphia Phillies and then a three-game weekend series against the AL East-leading New York Yankees.
And it was the same story for both of these series. Toronto could only muster one win in each, losing both 1-2.
With this, Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter has pushed them down the rankings from No. 15 last week to No. 19 this week.
"The Blue Jays were playing well at the end of May, but that momentum has not carried over to June with a 5-7 record and minus-15 run differential to start the month. After missing two starts with a hamstring strain, Dylan Cease returned to the mound on Tuesday with six innings of three-hit, one-run, 11-strikeout ball."
Despite the losing week, fans were excited to see Dylan Cease make his return to the mound after hitting the IL with a left hamstring strain. Now with their ace back and ready for business, they can string together wins and try to close the gap in the AL East.
