The Toronto Blue Jays have made it very clear how they feel about Simeon Woods Richardson.
They've now traded for the 6-foot-3 right-handed pitcher twice during his MLB career.
The second time came Wednesday, when the Blue Jays announced that they've acquired SWR from the Minnesota Twins for cash considerations.
He had been designated for assignment by the Twins, and the Blue Jays pounced at the opportunity.

Woods Richardson was previously a top prospect for the New York Mets who came to the Blue Jays in 2019 as part of the Marcus Stroman trade.
He then was sent to Minnesota in 2021 in the Jose Berrios trade.
Now, he comes back after a winding road.
This season, Woods Richardson was 0-7 for the Twins with a 7.74 ERA in 12 outings (10 starts).
He was better last season, a 4.04 ERA in 23 games.
His career MLB ERA is 4.76 with 258 strikeouts in 302.1 innings pitched.
Clearly, he couldn't find his solid stuff so far this season. A change of scenery could help.
Woods Richardson is still just 25 years old, so there might be time for him to rediscover himself.
The Blue Jays have spent time with him before, and they'll see if a reunion can help Woods Richardson get back to a better place on the mound.
