The Toronto Blue Jays continue to shuffle through infielders via small trades with big hopes.
They already dealt for Tyler Fitzgerald and Lenyn Sosa this season. On Saturday, they added another deal, getting Luis Urias.
Urias comes over from the Arizona Diamondbacks' organization. He'd been playing at Triple-A, where he had a .361 average and .939 OPS so far this season.
He will be coming to MLB to be with the Blue Jays' roster, and he brings a great glove.
Urias also has a .707 OPS in 582 career MLB games. He's not a bad hitter.
Against left-handed pitching, in particular, Urias can be a useful starter for his bat.
To clarify, as @bnicholsonsmith reports, Urias is actually expected to join the MLB team as he had an upward mobility clause. Sorry Buffalo. https://t.co/eF3Pv1g4fZ

The Blue Jays have two odd problems on their plate at the same time when it comes to these utility infielder chances they've taken.
For one, Toronto would like to have an improved defense. They haven't been great with the gloves this season.
They also might not be able to take too many downturns in their batting order just for defense, though, because they haven't hit well at all this season -- particularly lacking power.
The Blue Jays will hope that Urias can add at least a bit on both fronts.
