Bleech 9:3 have released a cover of The Cure’s “Lullaby,” timed to coincide with Halloween weekend. The track is available through Interscope Records.

The band said the song’s treatment of fear has influenced its own music and that revisiting it helped shape the writing process for their forthcoming debut album, Bleed. “’Lullaby’ brings fear to life through song in a way that has been hugely influential for us. As we headed into the writing process for Bleed, recreating it in our own style helped us explore new sonic directions. We wanted to pay homage to both the song and the band at this point in our journey.”
The cover follows “Tourniquet,” the group’s biggest single to date. Dan Carey, whose production credits include Fontaines D.C. and Wet Leg, produced the track; Rich Costey, whose mixing credits include Bruce Springsteen and Arctic Monkeys, mixed it.
Bleech 9:3 have announced a run of 2027 tour dates. The itinerary includes Mercury Lounge in New York on January 21 and The Echo in Los Angeles on February 3; both shows sold out within minutes. The run is also set to include a date at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum, though the date for that show has not been confirmed. The band’s sold-out fall headline tour begins in November.
