Black Ops 7 confirmed to have the first co-op campaign feature in franchise history
The main campaigns are an integral part of the Call of Duty games. However, these have historically been solo-play acts with the player commanding one character at a time (sometimes with a pet dog).
However, for the first time, Call of Duty will have co-op campaigns where you and your friends get to squad up to explore the game's story together. Here's a short excerpt from the official blog post:
"Prepare to squad up with friends or play solo in a thrilling and innovative Co-op Campaign, harness near-future weaponry in a signature Multiplayer experience packed with brand-new maps and descend into the next twisted chapter of Round-Based Zombies in the heart of the Dark Aether."Black Ops 7 brings back the fan-favorite character, David Mason, and introduces him to a futuristic world set more than 40 years after the events of Black Ops 6 in the year 2035. Hints at more futuristic weaponry sit perfectly with the trailer's overall tone and story.
