Overload and Skirmish are two brand new modes in Black Ops 7
The images revealed from Black Ops 7 showed two new modes coming to the game: Overload and Skirmish. Not only that, the rest of the images also showed how the operators would look in the upcoming title, and by the look of it, it will be very futuristic.
Nevertheless, the upcoming Black Ops will be set in the future, and it's a direct sequel to Black Ops 2. Let's take a look at how the game modes will work in the upcoming title:
Overload
The first mode's details revealed were for Overload. Based on the description, two teams of 6 players will fight against each other to control an EMP device. The goal is to deliver the device to the enemy HQ, and both teams will have to do the task. The team with the most EMP devices delivered will win the match.
Skirmish
As for the second mode, it is called Skirmish. It is a 20v20 mode in Black Ops 7, and given the large scale, it feels similar to the War mode we played in Modern Warfare. In this mode, both teams will have to complete certain objectives on a large map. Some of the objectives are capturing POIs, destroying payloads, and transmitting valuable data. Furthermore, the description also stated that players can use wingsuits to flank and reach the objectives before anyone else.
