The Buffalo Bills will travel to Bank of America Stadium to take on the Carolina Panthers, a game in which Sean McDermott's team will look to avoid a horror three-game losing streak.
With Josh Allen and the offense struggling in the past two games, as turnovers and the lack of scoring power have been evident, and the defense getting gashed on the ground, the Bills need to see their fortunes turn around against a Carolina team that, somewhat surprisingly, is gunning for four straight wins.
There will be a lot of factors that decide this game in Carolina, and the Bills, on both sides of the ball, need to step up and be the dominant forces they once were early in the season.
But if Buffalo is to snap its two-game losing streak, there is one thing it has to do against the Panthers, and that is stop the run game.

Can Bills stop Panthers' run game?
Given the potency of Allen and the offense that might come as a shock to most, but when we delve into the numbers, it is clear that this is where the game could be won and lost for Buffalo.
The Bills' defense has given up 100+ yards in all but one game this season, but in two of their last three games, totals of 189 and a whopping 210 against the Atlanta Falcons were among Buffalo's biggest downfalls.
And the Panthers run the ball well...I mean, really well.
Dave Canales' offense has rushed for over 100 yards in every game but one (Week 2), and in the past couple of weeks, the run game has been super-charged, with totals of 239, 216, and 125 yards on the ground.
And we know one way to beat top-tier quarterbacks is to keep them on the sidelines, and with Rico Dowdle and Chuba Hubbard, Carolina boasts a brutal one-two combo that can keep Josh sitting on the bench.
If the Panthers are allowed to run wild, I smell an upset here, so McDermott's defense, which could have Larry Ogunjobi and Michael Hoecht finally on the field, needs to stop the run by any means necessary.
