Connor McDavid continues to cement his name in Edmonton Oilers' history.
On Thursday night, that meant moving up an impressive record list.
McDavid notched the 137th game of his career with at least three points during the matchup with the Montreal Canadiens.
Those 137 three-point games now rank second in franchise history, according to Sportsnet.
McDavid is tied with Jari Kurri.
And yeah, he's just behind Wayne Gretzky.
The Oilers needed all the points in an epic 6-5 win.
On this night, all three points for McDavid were assists.
He assisted on a goal to go up 3-1, but then Montreal rattled off four unanswered.
McDavid assisted on Leon Draisaitl's goal to pull within one, then on Ryan Nugent-Hopkins' goal to tie the game.
On a roller coaster night, Edmonton came out on top to improve to 4-3-1.
McDavid clearly will have many more special nights ahead of him. And with the Oilers inking him to a two-year extension, he's at least got a couple more seasons in Edmonton to do it.
It never gets old, and when he has one of these nights in which he just controls proceedings, it's gotta be special for all the Oilers fans out there just to watch it and be grateful he's wearing their sweater.
