Bills vs. Broncos weather forecast for crucial divisional round showdown

1 hour ago 2

The Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos are set to do battle at Empower Field at Mile High on Saturday in the first divisional round game of the weekend.

At this time of year, it's important to check out the weather forecast ahead of kickoff to see if Mother Nature could play a role.

The things we're looking for include high winds, cold weather and precipitation, all of which can impact both sides of the ball for both teams.

Thankfully, it doesn't look like Bills-Broncos is going to be impacted by weather based on what we're seeing now.

Here's a closer look at the forecast for this crucial playoff showdown between two AFC powerhouses.

Bills vs. Broncos weather forecast

According to AccuWeather.com, temperatures are expected to be in the mid-to-high 30s throughout the contest, but there isn't much concern about that with these two teams, as the Bills and Broncos are well-accustomed to playing in cold weather.

When it comes to the wind, there's no concern there, either, as gusts aren't expected to exceed 10 MPH, which is great news for the passing attacks and kickers. Wind starts to become a problem at around 20 MPH.

Last but not least, there is no precipitation in the forecast, so conditions on the field will remain dry.

All in all, this is about as good a forecast as one could hope for in Colorado in the month of January.

The last thing we ever want to see is weather having a negative impact on a game, and it looks like that is not going to happen here.
