The NFL Draft is just one day away, and speculation on what could happen over the span of the annual selection meeting is at its highest point. With there still having been zero trades involving first-round picks thus far, could we see a hoard of trades take place Thursday night? Charles Robinson of Yahoo Sports believes the Bills could be one of those teams ready to trade up if a certain cornerback gets mor and more within range - Texas cornerback Jahdae Barron.
“If Texas corner Jahdae Barron gets to the 21st pick in the draft, I could absolutely see the Bills calling and inquiring about moving to 21 from 30,” Robinson added. “It’s worth noting the Bills have two second-round picks to help them climb up the board if they see an opportunity present itself in the first round.”
Barron has eight interceptions in his college career, and is highly regarded as one of, if not the best cornerback in this draft class. Considering Buffalo's need of another starting corner opposite Christian Benford, this would be a worth-while trade. Especially with the Pittsburgh Steelers at No. 21, considering they don't have a second-round pick following the DK Metcalf trade.
