Bills predicted to add weapon for Josh Allen in first round of 2026 NFL Draft

The Buffalo Bills need to upgrade the receiving corps around star quarterback Josh Allen. That's clear to anyone who watched the team in 2025. 

They could potentially address that need early on in the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft. 

Bills select Chris Brazzell II in 1st round of '26 NFL mock draft

In his latest ’26 mock draft, ESPN’s Mel Kiper has the Bills selecting Tennessee wide receiver Chris Brazzell II to provide Allen with another weapon In the passing attack.

As a Junior for Tennessee last season, Brazzell caught 62 passes for 1,017 yards and nine touchdowns. 

“As Buffalo looks for a new coach, it also might start evaluating its wide receiver room. The Bills haven't had a true WR1 nor any pass catcher clear 850 yards since Stefon Diggs was traded in 2024. And when the injuries started to pile up at the position in the playoffs, things only got worse,” Kiper wrote.

“But he also has the skill set to be a standout in the pros. His 6-foot-5 frame, long arms, sure hands and great concentration make him a big-time target in the end zone and on contested balls. I also see the explosiveness to get out of his breaks and separate.”
