The future of Buffalo Bills receiver Keon Coleman, for most, isn't with the AFC East team after that horror show of a press conference with owner Terry Pegula.
But new head coach Joe Brady remains firm in his desire to keep Coleman around.
We have seen flashes of his talent, but they have been fleeting. Plus, his off-field issues, which led to him being a healthy scratch multiple times, some think he is better off elsewhere.
Now entering a new era of Bills football with Brady, the new head coach has made it crystal clear that he isn't giving up on Coleman.
"I stood on the table for Keon Coleman," Brady said via NFL on CBS. "I told Keon as soon as I got hired, when I called him, I said: 'Look man, the best thing to happen to you is me being your head coach.'
"The faith I have in you, we're going to make it work together. The quarterback has the confidence in him. I wanted him, and I'm going to do everything I can to work with him to make it work because he has all the talent."

Coleman gets lifeline but pressure remains
It is great that Keon has gotten a big vote of confidence from his new head coach/offensive play-caller, but let's not forget, this is a results business.
And as harsh as it sounds, Coleman can't have another year as he did in 2025. That just won't cut it.
Still with two years on his rookie contract, one gets the sense that it's Keon's window to prove he's worth it.
A big offseason awaits Coleman, and if he can continue to improve and become a consistent weapon for Josh Allen, then Brady's faith isn't misplaced, and given Buffalo's current crop of receivers, Keon can't afford to be a bust.
And it sounds like Brady won't let him be.
