Bills get shaky 'game-time' injury updates on DJ Moore, Keon Coleman for Week 3

The Buffalo Bills are 2-0 to begin the 2026 season, with wins over the Houston Texans in Week 1 and the Detroit Lions in Week 2. Now, heading into Week 3 against the 0-2 Los Angeles Chargers, Josh Allen is eyeing a 3-0 start to the season.

Unfortunately, he might not be operating with a full-strength offense. While the running back and tight end rooms aren't in question, there is a lot of uncertainty at wide receiver.

On Friday, a few days before Sunday's big matchup, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network shared that the Bills will have both WR's DJ Moore and Keon Coleman questionable for Week 3, with both being "game-time" decisions, putting their status in doubt.

"Bills listing WRs DJ Moore (shoulder) and Keon Coleman (ankle) as questionable, with Joe Brady telling reporters he'll give them until game time Sunday vs. the Chargers. Same with DT Ed Oliver (hip)," Garafolo reports.

This injury update on Coleman and Moore is a significant one, as both Bills wide receivers are questionable for Week 3 against the Chargers.

But it's much more than simply being questionable. They're both game-time decisions, which is one step between being questionable and doubtful.

The shoulder injury for Moore could keep him out a week, and the same goes for Coleman's ankle injury.

While they could both play in Week 3, there is a chance they both are ruled out and sit for a week to be as close to 100% as possible for their next game.

If both sit, Khalil Shakir, Josh Palmer, and Skyler Bell will see the bulk of the work at wide receiver, with there likely to be plenty of Dalton Kincaid, Dawson Knox, and James Cook III as well.

Moore and Coleman are questionable, game-time decisions for the Bills in Week 3 against the Chargers. For now, it's a shaky situation that won't have a resolution until the "game-time" decision is made.
