Bill Belichick's 24-year-old girlfriend shares carefree post after viral CBS Mornings interview

Bill Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, seems unfazed by the drama surrounding his viral CBS Mornings interview.

The head football coach of the North Carolina Tarheels, 73,  went viral on Sunday after being asked how he met the 24-year-old former Bridgewater State University Cheerleader. Before he could respond to the question, Hudson interrupted the "CBS Sunday Morning" interview and sternly told journalist Tony Dokoupil, "We're not talking about this," while giving him a nasty look. 

In a voiceover played during the show, Dokoupil explained that the couple didn't feel "comfortable" commenting on their relationship and also noted that Hudson was a "constant presence" throughout the interview. 

On Monday, the Miss Maine hopeful shared a carefree post on Instagram suggesting that she was clearly unfazed by the drama.

She captioned the post, "Lots o' daffs & laffs."

In one photo during her outing in Nantucket, Massachusetts, Hudson was lying across the ground in a bright yellow sweatsuit while looking up at the sky. 

She playfully held up a daffodil while sitting across a porch post with her hand held up towards the camera in another snap, and smiled big with a friend in a third photo. 

While Hudson was seemingly trying to move on from the drama surrounding her involvement in Belichick's interview on Sunday, several people took to the comments section to talk about her behavior. 

"We love you but u made bill look bad w that comment in his interview . Did u know they were going to post your reaction to that question," one person wrote. 

"So how did you meet," someone else said, continuing to push the question. 

"Be nice to bill let him speak for himself," another person commented. 

"#FreeBill," someone else wrote. 

Belichick said he's not 'worried about what everybody else thinks' about his relationship with Jordan Hudson

While Hudson wouldn't let Belichick answer the question about how they met, he did get to make one comment about the relationship before she shut down the question. 

When asked how he deals with the public scrutiny surrounding his relationship with Hudson, who's 49 years younger than him, the eight-time Super Bowl winner replied, "I've never been too worried about what everybody else thinks."

He added, "I just try to do what I feel is best for me and what's right." 

Dokoupil continued pushing on, referencing all of the Instagram posts Hudson has tagged him in.  He mentioned one photo Hudson shared of Belichick holding her in the air on his legs while doing yoga, and another one of them pretending to fish together, with Belichick holding a fishing pole as Hudson lay on the ground in a mermaid costume as if he were going to catch her. 

"Yeah, so I'm not on some of those social media platforms, but I honestly don't follow them," Belichick replied, clearly brushing off the question.

Belichick is in fact, on Instagram, where Hudson has made these posts. In fact, he's even dropped a like on the fishing post Dokoupil referenced during the interview. 

He also commented on the fishing post, "My biggest catch," so it's unclear why he tried to deny his knowledge of the post. 

Belichick reportedly met Hudson on a flight in 2021 when the 24-year-old was still a college student. 

Hudson commemorated the day they met in February in a heartfelt Instagram post.

"Happy Meetiversary @billbelichick Cheers 🥂 to the fact that you still let me give you lengthy philosophical lectures four years later," she captioned the post.
