Bill Belichick isn't doing himself many favors as three days have passed since his awkward interview with "CBS Sunday Morning," which prominently featured his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, behind him, by angrily refusing to disclose how the two met.
Ever since, Belichick put out a statement to defend his girlfriend, despite not changing the public's perception of the incident.
“I was surprised when unrelated topics were introduced, and I repeatedly expressed to the reporter, Tony Dokoupil, and the producers that I preferred to keep that conversation centered on the book,” Belichick said. “After this occurred several times, Jordon, with whom I share both a personal and professional relationship, stepped in to reiterate that point to help refocus the discussion.”
Things have since turned sideways. SEC college football analyst Paul Finebaum, one who usually doesn't comment on anything not related to the SEC, recently weighed in about Belichick.
"If you psychoanalyze it, this guy is at low ebb," Finebaum said on "The Paul Finebaum Show." "His career is literally falling apart. Those six Super Bowls didn't do anything for him. He was just a lonely old coo without a job."
