"Bigger fine than Travon Walker" "Goodell just wants money": NFL fans react to Josh Allen and George Pickens getting fined for unsportsmanlike conduct

NFL fans were unhappy with the league's decision to fine Buffalo Bills star Josh Allen and Dallas Cowboys wide receiver George Pickens. As every Saturday, the league announces the players who got fined for their actions the prior week.

Pickens was fined $17,389 for unsportsmanlike conduct after holding the ball toward Arizona Cardinals cornerback Denzel Burke during the Cowboys' 27-17 loss on Monday, per Tom Pelissero.

Bills reporter Alaina Getzenberg shared that Josh Allen and teammate Elijah Moore were each fined for unsportsmanlike conduct, too, with Allen receiving a $14,491 fine and Moore $13,888.

NFL Fans were unhappy about these decisions, calling out the league for taking things too seriously and putting extra attention on these situations when Jaguars' Travon Walker was fined $12,172 for unnecessary roughness after throwing a punch at a Las Vegas Raiders player.

"NFL is so soft. Goodell just wants money," one fan said. "bigger fine than travon walker is insane," another fan said. "Trying to figure out the betting angle: $5,000 more than Travon Walker got for punching a player in the head," another fan said.

Allen's punishment drew ire from fans, too, with blaming the Chiefs for punishing his opponents even in a loss.

"What an absolute joke," one fan said."NO FUN LEAGUE STRIKES AGAIN," another fan said."Even when the Chiefs lose, they punish their opponents," another fan said.

NFL fans have been highly critical of the league's fines for several years now. The Josh Allen and George Pickens cases just added fuel to their unhappiness.
