It's time for some postseason action in college softball, starting with conference tournaments. Among the plethora of tournaments scheduled to begin this week is the Big 12 Tournament at the site of the Women's College World Series.
Texas Tech claimed the top seed in this year's tournament — the highest seeding for the program in its history. The Red Raiders also finished the regular season with the most Big 12 wins in program history, with a 42-12 overall record and a 20-4 record in the conference.
Similar to Texas Tech, Iowa State (30-22) enters the tournament as the No. 3 seed with a 15-9 conference record — the most Big 12 wins in a season for this program. Arizona, in its first year in the conference, is slotted between Texas Tech and Iowa State as the No. 2 seed. Oklahoma State and Arizona State round out the top five seeds.

The 2025 Big 12 softball tournament will start on Wednesday, May 7, and end on Saturday, May 10. All games will be played at OGE Energy Field at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
