Philip Rivers returned to the NFL field on Sunday against the toughest defense in the NFL, the Seattle Seahawks, set to lead the Indianapolis Colts to the 2025 playoffs following a Daniel Jones season-ending Achilles injury in Week 14. The 44-year-old quarterback rejoined the team amid doubts and criticism, but his first half back in action told a promising story.

With 1:33 left in the second quarter, Rivers connected with wide receiver Josh Downs for a 7-yard touchdown, extending the Colts' lead to 13-3.

The comparisons didn't stop, while some questioned how the Seahawks allowed a touchdown to Rivers.
