Best wishes to Death Riders member Claudio Castagnoli

AEW star Claudio Castagnoli has been a prominent wrestler on the roster since joining the Death Riders. The star has been an integral member of the formidable faction under the leadership of Jon Moxley.

It was a tough week for Claudio as he crashed out of the Continental Classic. The star was in action against Roderick Strong in a Blue League match on Christmas Collision. The match ended with a huge upset as Strong nailed a jumping knee strike on Claudio for the three-count. With this, Roderick Strong got his first win in the Continental Classic and sent his opponent out of the tournament. After the match, Death Riders members Marina Shafir, Wheeler Yuta, and Daniel Garcia showed up to attack Strong but were repelled by Mark Briscoe and Toni Storm.

The 45-year-old star recently won some big matches in the Continental Classic, including a one-on-one encounter against Jon Moxley. However, the star could not qualify for the semi-finals. Claudio celebrates his birthday on December 27, and AEW shared a warm message for the star on their social media.

Claudio Castagnoli was furious after AEW Collision

AEW backstage interviewers tried to get a few words from Claudio Castagnoli after Collision. The Death Riders star was furious with the loss and his subsequent elimination from the tournament.

Claudio was quietly contemplating the events of the night when the crew rushed in to get his thoughts. He pushed the camera crew out of the way and looked at them threateningly. He then said that he was in no mood to talk and walked off.

The Death Riders leader, Jon Moxley, punched his ticket to the semi-finals after defeating Orange Cassidy. It will be interesting to see how things shape up within the faction after the events of the Continental Classic.
