Best Wishes to AEW star Kevin Knight

Wrestling sensation and AEW star Kevin Knight is one of the best in-ring talents in the company. The star is part of the Jet Speed tandem with "Speedball" Mike Bailey.

The current roster is full of young rookies looking to become the next big star. However, Knight has made a name for himself with some stellar performances over the last year. The star showed up in the Jacksonville-based company back in March and has quickly become a popular name. Before that, Knight was performing in several independent promotions like New Japan Pro Wrestling, MLW, DEFY, and others.

Before joining AEW, Knight had reportedly turned down a tryout offer from WWE. Kevin had revealed that he did not feel it was the right opportunity for him and decided to sign with Tonu Khan and Co. instead. The star is celebrating his 29th birthday on January 1. The company shared a warm, heartfelt birthday message for the star on its official Twitter account.

Kevin Knight was part of the AEW Continental Classic

He was in the Gold League, pitted against major stars like Kazuchika Okada, PAC, "Jungle" Jack Perry, Kyle Fletcher, and his Jet Speed partner Mike Bailey.

Knight was impressive in the tournament, earning two wins, one time-limit draw, and two losses. Possibly the highlight for him was getting a win over former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada.

The 29-year-old star has all the tools to become a major champion in 2026. Despite being with the company for less than a year, he has already shown star potential with his athleticism, presence, and crowd connection. While he has a stellar partner in Mike Bailey, a singles run could be on the cards for Knight later this year.

The rookie could have some interesting storylines with some of AEW's biggest names, making him a star to watch out for in 2026.
