Vaporeon is a Water-type Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Z-A. It is one of eight Eeveelutions similar to the likes of Flareon and Glaceon. It's a Generation I Pokemon that is still rather popular and can be used competitively in a battle if the correct movesets are used. Your priority should be to level Vaporeon up so you can use some of its more powerful moves in-game.

The best moves for Vaporeon are:

• Wish
• Protect
• Calm Mind
• Surf

Wish is a very basic move that can help Vaporeon and allies gain HP. This is a very useful tool, especially against stronger and more aggressive opponents. This can be paired up with the defensive move, Protect, which can be used to block some of the heavier attacks from your opponents.

Afterwards, offensive attacks such as Surf can be used, which affects a wide area, making it difficult for your enemy to dodge or get away from it. Finally, Calm Mind can easily boost Vaporeon's special attack stats during battle, giving it the edge over the opponent.

It's also advisable to give a Leftovers to Vaporeon to hold, allowing it to heal over time during battle. You can get this item in Pokemon Legends Z-A after finishing the side mission “The Best Use for Leftovers.”

Vaporeon's physical defense stats in Pokemon Legends Z-A are rather low. Therefore, it's best to give it a Bold (+Def, -Atk) nature by giving it a Bold Mint sold by a vendor in Sector 1. This way, you can give the Pokemon the boost it needs for better performance.
