The Cincinnati Bengals are gearing up for another huge offseason, and one where Trey Hendrickson is a key watch.
But there is another storyline that warrants our attention, and that is the quarterback situation with Joe Burrow.
And no, Joe's not going anywhere; it is about who is behind him. Given his injury history, the Bengals need a reliable backup for Burrow.
And according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler, he knows who the Bengals are interested in, and there's a harsh reality for Burrow that comes with it.
"The Bengals have expressed interest in re-signing quarterback Joe Flacco," Fowler wrote. "They believe he's a valuable backup who can be a viable starting option if Joe Burrow gets injured again."

Burrow's injury history worrying Bengals?
Going by Fowler's comments, you can certainly make that case.
The "if Joe Burrow gets injured again" isn't exactly the sentence you want to read if you are a Bengals fan, but that is the reality now.
Just once in the last three seasons has Joe played a full season. That isn't great, and as they say, your best ability is availability, and Joe has struggled with that.
Flacco, as an option, is a good choice to sit behind Burrow. A veteran who has already been with the Bengals and has won games.
But that isn't the story here. The story is that the Bengals are now planning moves based on Burrow's availability.
