The Chicago Bears fell hard to the Green Bay Packers in Week 5, and it was just a dismal game from start to finish for the Windy City. Now, head coach Ben Johnson and company are coming up on a critical game against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 6.

It's still up in the air whether Chicago will have franchise quarterback Caleb Williams back, but that would certainly help, and he's back practicing, which is a good sign. As for Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr., he'll likely be playing, which helps the Falcons.

CBS Sports' Pete Prisco has released his official projections for the Week 6 NFL games, and his isn't great for the Bears.

NFL analyst Pete Prisco predicts a major loss for the Chicago Bears

Prisco has the Bears losing to the Falcons with a 27-21 final score. He also says that the Bears were "horrible" against the Packers.

"The Bears are off a horrible showing in Green Bay, in which the defense was shredded," he notes. "But the Falcons lost in overtime to the Ravens and quarterback Michael Penix was hurt. He will likely play here, and that's a good thing since he can light up the Chicago defense. Falcons win it."

So, the issue with the Bears is really on defense, and that's why he thinks the Falcons will have the upper hand. Johnson comes from an offensive coaching background with the Detroit Lions, so it really shouldn't be a surprise that he's appeared to focus more on offense than defense. Still, if the Bears can solidify their defense, that could be a huge difference-maker for this team.
