A brief recap of Bel-Air season 3

Bel-Air season 3 dove right back into Will Smith’s life in Bel-Air, and it turned out to be a high-stakes season for the Banks family and Smith. He and his cousin, Carlton, launched their own clothing brand, called Blackcess, after Will stepped back from basketball.

Carlton, on the other hand, used this as a chance to rebuild his life after getting out of rehab, although his sobriety was challenged when his love interest, Amira, relapsed. Meanwhile, Hilary and her boyfriend Lamarcus got married in the season 3 finale, but he collapsed during their honeymoon, ending their relationship on a cliffhanger.

Jazz’s presence at their wedding further complicated things, but he made no move to stop the wedding despite being in love with Hilary. Aunt Viv and Uncle Phil also faced their only problems with the arrival of past lovers, putting a strain on their marriage. The season finale ended on another cliffhanger for them, too.

Like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, season 3’s finale showed Aunt Viv holding a pregnancy test, pointing to the fact that Bel-Air season 4 could have a new Banks in the mix.

What to expect from Bel-Air season 4

Bel-Air season 4 marks the final season of the series. Thus, it will likely resolve many storylines of multiple characters. Both Will and Carlton are entering their final year of high school and will have to balance their lives as teenagers alongside the various complications they face in their daily lives.

For Will, it begins with his survival of the kidnapping at the end of season 3, when he was taken while searching for Geoffrey. Aunt Viv and Uncle Phil will likely deal with that alongside the fact that Aunt Viv is likely pregnant. However, she hasn't told Phil this yet.

Ashley and Hilary will also have their own issues to deal with, as the latter's husband, LeMarcus, collapses during their honeymoon, leaving his fate uncertain. He suffers from a heart condition, and the likelihood is that Hilary’s life as a wife might be over before it even starts.

Ashley, on the other hand, starts her freshman year of high school and thus enters her rebellious phase as she continues to deal with her sexuality and new relationships.
