Chelsea have officially parted ways with head coach Enzo Maresca, with both parties deciding on a mutual end to their relationship. The former Leicester City tactician leaves the Blues a season and a half after he replaced Mauricio Pochettino at the helm of their affairs.
Fans have reacted to the announcement of the decision to part ways with the Italian schemer, who led the club to two titles during his time in charge. He won only two of his last nine games in charge of the club, losing thrice and drawing four times.
Enzo Maresca made some cryptic remarks about a lack of support at the club after their win over Everton on December 13th, and won one of four games since. There appears to have been a complete breakdown in his relationship with the club's executives, resulting in the decision to part ways.

Enzo Maresca had a contract with Chelsea until 2029 but leaves with over three years left on his deal with the club. He was in charge for 92 matches, winning 55 of them as he led the club to win the UEFA Conference League and FIFA Club World Cup. The 45-year-old also led the Blues to qualify for the UEFA Champions League in his first season in charge.
Strasbourg boss strongly linked with Chelsea job: Reports
Strasbourg coach Liam Rosenior has been linked with the Chelsea job after an impressive stint in France, as per reports. The Englishman led the BlueCo-owned club to finish seventh in Ligue 1 in his first season in charge, narrowly missing out on a UEFA Champions League place.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Rosenior is one of those being considered to take over at Stamford Bridge after Enzo Maresca's exit. He previously worked with Hull City in the Championship and was an assistant to Wayne Rooney at Derby County, as well.
Liam Rosenior is familiar with some of the Chelsea squad, having enjoyed playing with Andrey Santos during his loan spell in France last season. The trio of Mike Penders, Emanuel Emegha, Kendry Paez, and Mamadou Sarr, all of whom play under him this season, are due to move to Stamford Bridge in the summer, as well.
