Bears trade rumor from NFL insider could lead to deal with Commanders, Bills, Broncos

The Chicago Bears are might be open to trading one of their wide receivers and the Washington Commanders, Buffalo Bills and Denver Broncos should all take note.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Bears have been getting calls on wide receiver DJ Moore, and the belief around the league is he's available for the right price.

"Moore has over $23M in guaranteed money in 2026 and is viewed as available for the right price by teams in the WR market," Schultz reported.

Moore is a logical trade candidate for a few reasons.

For starters, he hasn't shown great chemistry with Caleb Williams over two seasons and that has led to a dip in production after Moore had a career-best year in 2023, when he tallied over 1,300 yards with Justin Fields as his quarterback.

Chicago also has a trio of promising young pass-catchers in wide receivers Rome Odunze and Luther Burden, and tight end Colston Loveland, which could further make Moore expendable.

The Commanders, Bills and Broncos are all logical trade suitors for Moore.

Deebo Samuel is a pending free agent and his departure would leave Washington with Terry McLaurin and not much else at wide receiver, which is bad news for the Commanders hopes of seeing Jayden Daniels bounce back in 2026.

In Buffalo, the Bills have swung and missed with Keon Coleman and Joshua Palmer in recent years and Josh Allen desperately needs more help in a wide receivers room led by Khalil Shakir.

The Broncos have a mostly unproven wide receivers room outside of Courtland Sutton and need another veteran presence for Bo Nix if they want their young quarterback to take that next step in 2026.
