The most important man in Chicago right now is Bears quarterback Caleb Williams.

The most important man from Chicago? That'd be Pope Leo XIV, named to the papacy on Thursday after growing up as Robert Prevost, a Chicago native.

And late Thursday, Williams chimed in with his feelings.

Leo XIV is the first pope from the United States.

He's also gained notice in the sports world for having attended Villanova for his undergrad degree.
