The Chicago Bears traded away DJ Moore this offseason, which was a logical move to cash in on an aging asset.

It does mean that the Bears could use a replenishment of their WR depth chart, though. With Caleb Williams set as the franchise QB, Chicago needs to continue to bulk up the talent around him on offense to maximize his potential.

Head coach Ben Johnson, an offensive guru, surely would agree with that assessment.

ESPN's Matt Miller does, too, giving the Bears WR Skyler Bell out of UConn with the No. 89 pick (third round) in a new mock draft that Miller released on Monday.

Bell may have not played at one of the biggest programs in the country, but he's coming off a season in which he had 101 catches for 1,278 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was one of the best in the nation at catching even the most difficult of passes and turning them into big plays.

"Building around Caleb Williams should be a priority in every Bears draft," Miller writes. "Bell is an impressive athlete with the speed and route-running ability to win consistently from the slot."

Bell began his college career with three seasons at Wisconsin, across which he had 69 total catches.

Then in his first year at UConn, he averaged 17.2 yards per catch on 50 grabs.

Then he broke out in 2025 for those huge numbers.

He'll be an NFL receiver for sure, and potentially a very solid one.

If he joins the Bears' potentially potent offense, Bell could eventually be crucial to one of the NFL's best teams.
