The Baylor men's basketball team finally found its rhythm in conference play Tuesday night, using a blistering first half to power past Oklahoma State 94-79 at Gallagher-Iba Arena for its first Big 12 win of the season.
Baylor Bears earn first conference win of season over Oklahoma State
Tuesday's win marked Baylor’s 10th straight win in Stillwater and ended Oklahoma State’s 11-game home winning streak. The Bears stand 11-5 on the season and now 1-3 in conference play, shot a record-setting 73.3 percent in the opening half, their best first-half performance ever in a Big 12 game, to take control early and never let up.

— Big 12 Studios (@big12studios) January 14, 2026Freshman Tounde Yessoufou led the Bears with 23 points on 11 field goals, while Michael Rataj added 19 points. Cameron Carr had 17, Obi Agbim scored 15, and Isaac Williams IV chipped in 14 as five Bears finished in double figures. Oklahoma State briefly threatened midway through the second half with an 8-0 run that trimmed the deficit to 72-61. But a steal and slam by Yessoufou halted the surge and deflated any hope of a comeback for the crowd at Gallagher-Iba Arena.
From there, Baylor matched every Cowboys push with timely buckets. Agbim, who played all 40 minutes, hit a key 3-pointer to maintain momentum as the Bears coasted through the final stretch.
Yessoufou sealed the victory in the closing minutes, surpassing 20 points before Baylor closed out its first conference win of 2026. Baylor continues its Big 12 slate Friday night against No. 4 Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. CT on FOX.
