Bayley spotted training with released WWE star

Bayley is among the most beloved performers in the world of professional wrestling. The 36-year-old was recently spotted training with a former WWE Superstar.

The name in question is Mustafa Ali. The former Retribution leader opened up his Chicago Wrestling Center in Niles, Illinois, in November 2024. The Role Model visited Ali's professional wrestling school last week.

Earlier today, Bayley took to Instagram to post a video of herself in action at the Chicago Wrestling Center. She wrestled with some of the students while Ali was also up close inside the squared circle.

Mustafa Ali was released from the Stamford-based promotion in September 2023, just over a week before he was scheduled to wrestle Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Championship at NXT No Mercy. Ali is currently signed to TNA Wrestling. Interestingly, he got to challenge for the title two years later, when he wrestled Ethan Page for the gold at NXT Showdown, a crossover event between WWE's developmental brand and TNA.

Bayley refused to join forces with former stablemates ahead of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames

The two teams for the Women's WarGames Match have been locked in. Bayley, who has been part of the last three WarGames Matches, will be absent this time around.

With one spot left, her former Damage CTRL stablemate Asuka tried to recruit The Role Model into her team during a backstage segment on the most recent edition of Monday Night RAW. However, the veteran laughed in her face and rejected the offer. The inaugural WWE Women's Grand Slam Champion's current ally, Lyra Valkyria, then joined her.

Instead, Becky Lynch was revealed as the fifth member of Asuka's team on Friday Night SmackDown. Only time will tell which team emerges victorious in San Diego, California, on November 29.
