Barack Obama, Anthony Edwards battle in basketball, table tennis — and it's wildly entertaining

Did you know you needed a video featuring Barack Obama and Anthony Edwards?

No, but you do. The former President of the United States met the current Minnesota Timberwolves superstar for some fun bonding time, and the footage shared by ESPN's Malika Andrews is perfect.

We'll let you have a watch of the video, and then we'll come back to revisit some of our favorite parts of the athletic battle between the two in both basketball and table tennis:

Ant Edwards. President Barack Obama.

The quotes are absolutely incredible.

These are a few of the things Ant says to the former President:

  • "Open that hand up now, OG."
  • "Too much dip on your chip."
  • "Good thing I was born at night, not last night."

And these are a few of the things Obama fires back to the NBA star:

  • "I was making jump shots before you were even thought of."
  • "You're not the only one who can crank things up."
  • "I can tell I got this."

Then the duo met in Connect Four.

"Remind me what the rules of this thing are," Obama said to someone off-screen.

"You put a blue chip, I put a red chip, but you've gotta let me win," Edwards responded.

Also worth noting: Edwards shot all his jumpers in their HORSE game left-handed, and then he threw down a dunk Obama couldn't match.

"Even when I was your age, I couldn't do that," Obama said.

Obama did win the Connect Four game.

Quite the pairing, for sure.
