Sean Sprecher releases lots of music as Bad History Month, whether it's original songs or covers. Now, he's sharing a fundraising EP after getting shot in the calf.
"First off, I'm ok and will heal pretty fast," the Philly musician wrote on Bandcamp, continuing:
Second, through a time/space error, I wound up in front of a bullet and it went thru my fatted calf. I'll be fine and am a lucky person. A+ easy-mode version of getting shot.
Anyway, I'm working on establishing evidence of my income as a musician so I can potentially get some victim relief workers comp, so If you wanna throw down 5 on this and make me look caked, that would be excellent. Uh, more details later, I wanted to get this up for Bandcamp Friday tax holiday.
The music is this folk'd version of the last 2 songs on Dead And Loving It, been playing it for years but never recorded. The 2 platinum versions are w ben assist, if u like your songs more dressed up. I'll do more with this later when I'm more up and about.
The four songs are intimate and worthwhile. Consider purchasing here, and listen below.
