Met Gala 2025: Dress Code and Star-Studded Host Committee Revealed

Thankfully we’re not entering summer without Bad Bunny.

The “Tití Me Preguntó” rapper graced the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Benefit in New York City May 5 and continued his legacy of iconic looks.

To fit the “Tailored for You” dress code in support of the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”-themed fundraiser—which is co-chaired by Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams and Vogue’s Anna Wintour—Bad Bunny wore an all-brown suit, featuring a double-breasted cropped blazer. He accessorized his look with a brown straw hat, golden bedazzled gloves, sunglasses and a leather bag. (See all the stars at the Met Gala here.)

While Bad Bunny (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) was certain to have all eyes on him during fashion’s biggest night, he is no stranger to stealing the spotlight with his looks. In fact, the Puerto Rican artist’s fashion sense landed him the honor of co-chair last year, alongside Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Chris Hemsworth and, of course, Wintour.

To the May 2024 benefit, Bad Bunny donned a custom all-black suit ensemble from Maison Margiela, which included vertical pinstripes and a single pop of color: red stripes running up the inside of his pants. To complete the look, he sported small, diamond-framed black sunglasses, leather gloves, and a large black hat while holding a small bouquet of black flowers.

The year before, the “Safaera” rapper raised the heat by sporting a custom, backless, all-white suit by Jacquemus. In addition to a white “J” pendant draped over his exposed back, Bad Bunny accessorized with a floor-length white shawl made of white camellia flowers.

And while his head-turning style seems to always be on point, Bad Bunny has been open about how authenticity drives his fashion choices.

“I’m taking advantage of this moment in my life when I can do whatever I want and wear what I want, so I get to live life more authentically,” he told Harper’s Bazaar in 2022. “I don’t do it to become more famous or to call attention or to disrespect anyone. People on the outside can think that I have a strategy or I wear this to call for attention, but in reality I just know who I am.”
